Long Beach Ave Series 3

 This current series consists of large panel paintings of patterns from the flora of downtown Los Angeles combined with the elements of the Memphis Design Group.  The bold stripes in each painting are attributed to the Memphis Design Group who used bold stripes in their designs along with bold colors like hot pink and sea foam green. 
Some of the flowers, seeds, and pods, depicted in these paintings are generally seen around city hall. Especially dominate in showers of pods and flowers-are the magnolia flowers.  The flowers are on the trees and on sidewalks in front of city hall.
