Drawings/Mixed-Media/Collage

The current drawings are in conjunction with the paintings from The Long Beach Ave Series #3, they include local and pretend flora of Downtown Los Angeles combined with the Memphis Design Group’s stripe pattern designs.

 The “Crown of Roses”, Prismacolor drawings, are related to previous charcoal drawings of “The Crown of Thorns” 1991-93. The” crown of thorns” was for Jesus and” the crown of roses” was for Mary.  The drawings provide “crown of roses” for whoever wants to metaphorically wear them. 

The drawings combine Prismacolor, acrylic, and collage. They are a space for intimacy and personal travels at the time of the drawings.
